This is the Terms and Conditions of EEA Remote Employment Services Ltd, trading as ¨EU Remote Jobs¨, registered number 698540. (‘we’, ‘our’, or ‘us’).

Our registered office is at Glencrow, Moville, Co. Donegal, Ireland F93 DK74.

1. Introduction

EU Remote Jobs is an online platform dedicated to advertising remote job opportunities across Europe. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our site, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

‘Job Board’ refers to EU Remote Jobs.
‘User’ refers to anyone who accesses or uses the Job Board, including job seekers and employers.
‘Job Posting’ refers to the advertisements for job vacancies posted by employers on the Job Board.

3. User Eligibility

Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding age requirements for accessing and using our services. By using the Job Board, you represent and warrant that you meet any age requirements applicable in your jurisdiction and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms and conditions.

4. Account Registration

To post job ads or apply for jobs, Users must create an account. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and for all activities that occur under their account. Accounts must be created with an email associated with the company for which the jobs are being advertised.

5. Job Posting Guidelines

Employers can post job advertisements subject to the following guidelines:

– Job postings must be accurate, non-misleading, and comply with applicable laws.
Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to, offensive language, discrimination, and illegal activities.
– Job postings cannot display external links and application links should point to the job listing on the company careers page or ATS.
– Job postings remain active for a specified period and can be renewed subject to additional fees.
– Only one job listing per paid job listing
– No links to the general company careers page can be contained within the job description on via the application url.
– No jobs application process should require candidates to make a payment in order to start working for the company

6. Fees and Payments

The Job Board offers the following pricing tiers:

– €149 for a standard 30 day listing without logo.
– €199 for a standard 30 day listing with logo.
– €249 for a featured listing which is pinned and highlighted on the homepage and category pages.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. We accept payments via Stripe and bank transfer. In the case of bank transfer, job listings can be published upon receipt of proof of payment.

7. Content Moderation and Removal

We reserve the right to remove job listings while investigating complaints from candidates that the job listing is fraudulent. In such cases, we may request additional information from job posters to verify the legitimacy of the job offer.

In case verification of the authenticity of a job listing and/or hiring company cannot be confirmed, the job listing will be permanently removed without a refund.

8. Verification and Security

We reserve the right to refuse or remove publication of any job listing where:

– We cannot verify that the job poster is a legitimate employee of the company listed
– The job poster cannot provide a valid company email address for verification purposes
– Internal security checks designed to prevent fraudulent or misleading listings have not been satisfied
– We determine, at our sole discretion, that the listing does not meet our quality or authenticity standards

We are not required to disclose the specific nature of our security verification processes, as these measures are implemented to maintain the integrity of EU Remote Jobs and protect our users from fraudulent content.

9. User Conduct

Users agree to use the Job Board in accordance with these terms and applicable laws. Prohibited behaviors include:

Posting false or misleading information.
Harassment, abuse, or threats to other Users.
Unauthorized use of another User’s account.

10. Intellectual Property

All job listings, company information, curated content, website design, functionality, and any other materials available on EU Remote Jobs constitute our proprietary intellectual property or that of our partners and affiliates. This includes our curated database of remote job opportunities and associated metadata.

Prohibited Activities

You are expressly prohibited from:

– Copying, reproducing, distributing, transmitting, displaying, performing, publishing, licensing, creating derivative works from, transferring, or selling any content, information, or functionality obtained from EU Remote Jobs
– Using any automated systems including but not limited to robots, spiders, scrapers, crawlers, data mining tools, APIs, or other automated devices or manual processes to monitor, extract, or copy content from our platform
– Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to derive the source code of any part of our website or services
– Framing, mirroring, or creating derivative works based on our content without explicit written permission
– Accessing our platform for the purpose of building a similar or competing service
– Bulk downloading, systematic retrieval, or mass collection of job listings or other content

Limited License

– We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use EU Remote Jobs solely for legitimate job searching and recruitment purposes as an individual user. This license does not permit any commercial use, redistribution, or republication of our content.

Enforcement
– Violation of these content protection terms may result in immediate termination of your access, legal action for damages, and pursuit of all available remedies under applicable law. We actively monitor for unauthorized use and reserve the right to take technical measures to prevent scraping and content theft.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, in compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws. We use necessary cookies, including analytics cookies, to track the number of visitors to our website and their geographical locations. By using our website, you consent to the use of these cookies.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Job Board is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EU Remote Jobs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

The job board, EU Remote Jobs does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Under no circumstances shall EU Remote Jobs be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages (even if EU Remote Jobs has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from any aspect of your use of the site, including, but not limited to, damages arising from the use or inability to use the site, or from any content posted on the site by EU Remote Jobs or any third party.

EU Remote Jobs does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any job postings or other content, nor does it adopt, endorse, or accept responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice, or statement made by any party other than EU Remote Jobs.

Users are solely responsible for the content of their job listings and EU Remote Jobs shall have no liability for any claims arising therefrom.

EU Remote Jobs shall not be responsible for the performance of any job listing, including but not limited to low engagement or application numbers. Many factors can impact the performance of a job listing, such as employer brand, location restrictions, and salary transparency. Our responsibility is limited to ensuring high volumes of candidates access our website and that the site is fully functional.

In the event of any service outage, we may extend the job listings to cover the amount of time our website was down or inaccessible. This remedy shall be your sole and exclusive remedy for any service outage.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend any User account at our discretion, for reasons including but not limited to violation of these Terms and Conditions.

14. Refunds

Refund requests are not authorised, but credits will remain on the user account for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

Refunds are not permitted for listing which have been reported as being fraudulent.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

16. Amendments

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the Job Board constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
