Our Intelligence Operation Team analyzes the current and future cyber threat landscape to disseminate timely and accurate tactical/operational/strategic intelligence to external customers and industry peers. The team is distributed across Germany, Spain, and the US and its members come from both the cyber security and defense sector.
 
Tear 1 (T1) Threat Intelligence Analysts are responsible for assisting the team by collecting, reporting, and analyzing information related to potential cyber threats against our clients. T1 Analysts are in charge of reviewing the Client’s alerts generated by QuoIntelligence technology (e.g. new malicious indicators found, trending vulnerabilities, current malicious malspam campaigns, data leak found, fraudulent contents, suspicious social media activity, etc), perform additional analysis, and eventually escalate them.
The analyst will work closely with the Intelligence Operations team to research information and produce written assignments, and contribute with the Intelligence Operations’ recurrent reporting. Analysts will be provided on the job training for delivering high value threat information that is tailored to customer needs and is to be shared with risk management specialists, security professionals and policy makers globally.

TO NOTE: The position is only for candidates located in Germany, Spain, US, and Italy (soon), and having a valid work permit. This position aims at internal hiring, so no freelancers or agencies will be considered.

YOUR TASKS
  • Review Threat Alerts triggered by our system for our Clients and discard False Pasitives
  • Perform initial triage analysis on triggered threat alerts for clients by our system to determine necessary escalation steps as per internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Provide feedback and continually enhance various documents pertaining to our internal Standard Operating Procedures
  • Be a team player by attending daily Operations sync calls and actively communicate with other team members via chat/voice/video channels.
  • Daily monitor and analyze cyber threat related and geopolitical events for impact on the business
  • Work independently and reacting rapidly to breaking news and incidents
  • Assisting in brainstorming sessions
YOUR PROFILE
Work Experience / Education:

  • Graduated in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline. 

Skill Requirements:

  • Good understanding on IT, IT Network, and Information Security fundamentals
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills, with ability to assess and analyze information from various sources to develop actionable intelligence
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate with in a team, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge in how to research emerging trends in cybersecurity and more.
  • Be an organizational talent who is characterized by an analytical way of thinking, a strong willingness to learn and the ability to grasp larger networks and connections between events

Desired Skills, not Required:

  • Working experience in operation teams (e.g. SOC, call centers, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Linux and Unix tools
