Hello,
My name is Michael Nicholson, I have worked with 2N since 2019. Joining as Business Developer Manager for the region and now as Country Manager responsible for the UK&IE team which currently consists of Business Development, Key Accounts, Senior Inside Sales & A&E manager. We enjoy working with technology and selling our IP based Intercoms and Access Control solutions to our target market.

Currently, I am looking for a Technical Presales Engineer, preferably based in the North of the UK that will further contribute to driving the business in the UK&IE region, you would be joining an experienced team of professionals and we offer an opportunity to work with products and solutions which are considered one of the best in class in their field, developing business and relationships with our growing network of partners consisting of many of the key integrators and installers across the UK&IE.

I’m looking for a professional who is experenced working within the Security and/or IT sector has a proven technical background and good communication skills.

 

What will you do at our company?

  • As the UK&IE Technical Presales Engineer you will work with your colleagues in the region to support customer enquiries, engaging with systems integrators and their design teams, our distribution network, project planners and specifiers to meet their customer needs
  • You will provide advice on technical issues concerning 2N devices and services. Work closely with product management department and marketing product managers
  • You will provide training & knowledge of 2N solutions, features and benefits to our customers, channel partners and interested parties in order that they can deliver effective solutions to their clients

  • Nice to have: Knowledge of Access Control Systems; Experience within Security or IT Industry; Worked with Salesforce or equivalent CRM; Understanding of telecommunications products; Experience within the Residential sector
  • Capable of supporting standalone and Integrated solutions
  • Able to present and communicate concepts across all levels
  • Technical training and demonstrations to partners
  • Problem solving approach
  • Arrange & conduct testing of products & services on site
