We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to hire across a wide variety of roles. You’ll partner closely with the founders to understand their priorities, help them design and execute successful hiring processes and bring in a diverse range of candidates.

About Speckle and the team
Speckle is an open source platform that enables automation, collaboration, and rich data exchanges for 3D software, with a focus on architecture, engineering, and construction data.

Our team is currently made up of 10 amazing individuals spread across the globe. Most of us are architects or engineers turned software developers, to change the future of our industry.

We don’t have a physical office or fixed work hours but we do see each other daily – and never fail to have a laugh!

About the role
We’re looking for someone with a passion for finding the best talent out there that will help us source, identify, screen, engage and hire individuals for a variety of roles. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Helping us hire the right people for Speckle
  • Setting up hiring processes and ensuring they are fit for the stage and needs of Speckle
  • Setting up a variety of hiring channels
  • Identifying, engaging, and closing candidates and understanding where to most effectively spend your time to improve hiring processes
  • Pave the way for a talent team

About you
Our ideal candidate will be extremely hands-on, smart, talented, and driven. They will understand our mission and want to play their part.  We are looking for someone armed with a startup “can-do” mentality, who wants to tackle all sorts of tasks.

You should apply if

  • You have in-house experience in recruiting for technical and non technical roles across a variety of levels. Experience at a pre-IPO company with stock options is a huge plus
  • You’re skilled at sourcing: identifying skills, finding the right candidates, and closing them
  • Analytically minded, make decisions based on data and, can use data to influence stakeholders
  • You have worked on projects where the goal was to make hiring processes stronger
  • You care about inclusiveness and diversity
  • You can adapt your approach to suit working with a different range of needs and stakeholders


  • The role is fully remote but preferably within a 4 hour time difference from GMT
  • If you prefer to work part-time, we’ll make this happen whenever we can – whether this is to help you meet other commitments or strike a great work-life balance

The application process consists of two introductory 30 min video calls (one with each founder) followed by a practical exercise and 2-3 video interviews. We promise not to ask any brain teasers or tricky questions!
