Overview

Currently, we’re hiring a Finance & Accounting Support to join our Finance Team, working together with an experienced Finance Manager and 2 other team members, collaborating with our Founders and Operations Teams. This part-time position can be 100% remote, working on a daily basis within our timezone (CET/CEST).

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will support operations and projects within the Finance & Accounting domain at Tagvenue. You’ll have a chance to build your expertise for Polish and foreign markets (UK, Australia, Ireland, Canada, Singapore).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling payments to the suppliers and payouts to the venue managers using the Stripe Connect tool
  • Supporting processes in the Accounts Receivable area (processing invoices, collecting payments using Xero and our internal systems)
  • Providing support and operational information to our partners by phone and email
  • Taking care of some of the administrative tasks (e.g. internal finance operations, documents, insurance)
  • Participating in ongoing opportunities to learn about industry trends, current financial legislation, and company procedures

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • At least 6 months of experience in Finance-related positions/internships
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Student or graduate of Finance and Accounting or other related major
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure – you prioritize and plan effectively to achieve targets and deadlines
  • Professional approach to confidentiality
  • Great attention to detail combined with creative thinking – you can proactively propose solutions to different kinds of problems
  • Flexible approach to working with different types of tasks
  • Passion for learning and self-development in the Finance area
