ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Sales Engineer at i-PRO, you will provide sales engineering support (technical demonstrations, design, and installation services), to sales and dedicated (BtB) customers with technical expertise in IP Security Systems (Cameras, Network Video Recorders, Software & related products).

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • You will provide sales support by preparing and conducting product-related workshops for customers.
  • You can elaborate/explain technical specifications, according to the requirements, defined by customers or sales.
  • You will perform planning, installation, configuration, or integration services for customers and partners and new product roll-out.
  • You will coordinate product samples for testing, give technical advice & and presentations, and solve integration issues.
  • You will work in close collaboration with product development and production to clarify technical questions and collaborate with 3rd-party manufacturers, software companies, and solution partners.
  • You can analyse technical issues at all stages and provide testing, troubleshooting and ongoing support in cooperation with HQ Japan.
  • You will support exhibitions, fairs, product demonstrations & and training in cooperation with Marketing and Sales.
  • Although supporting a region, you are part of a central European engineering team as required. and may be asked to support other countries.

Job requirements

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 2 to 8 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Understands the impact of legislation and law regulations relevant to the business or function.
  • Good knowledge of troubleshooting techniques on LAN, WAN & secure networks, TCP/IP Essential and POE & Network Switch configuration.
  • Practical experience with VMS, IP Video, cameras, lenses, focus, white balance, and similar adjustments.
  • Profound technical understanding of the assigned product and/or software portfolios.
  • Good English level, verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel with control over own agenda.
