Backed by leading cloud vendors, VC’s and telecoms companies we are growing our sales team to take advantage of the opportunity for Kubernetes management. Join our team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and help find, nurture and develop customers.

You’ll be responsible for driving the whole engagement from initially finding interesting companies, to reaching out to contacts and then developing them into sales opportunities. You’ll work closely with your Enterprise Sales Representative (ESR) through the whole life-cycle of the sale – the perfect way to learn and develop into the next stage of your sales career. Our company is a fun, fast-paced tech start-up that supports a fully remote working environment in North America and European time-zones.

What you’ll do:

Outbound sales campaigns

  • Contact targets of outbound marketing campaigns through a variety of email, phone and social media
  • Research and develop leads through proactive prospecting within territory
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop activities that drive sales leads

Nurture and Qualify

  • Develop and engage with prospective customers to understand their needs and interest in Weaveworks’ proposition
  • Nurture and develop the interests of prospective users so they understand the business value of Weaveworks’ approach
  • Qualify prospects to the point of a sales opportunity that can be transferred for further development to an ESR

Sales systems

  • Be responsive to incoming queries and opportunities to develop contacts
  • Create and maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with Marketing improve the effectiveness of campaigns

Who we’re looking for:

  • Fluency in English
  • 2+ years experience in SDR, Telemarketing or telephone sales experience
  • History of having consistency achieved sales pipeline goals
  • Ability to listen to prospects and clearly verbally communicate
  • Ability to write in a clear, succinct and compelling manner
  • Self-starter who’s trustworthy with a strong work ethic
  • Enthusiastic and friendly personality
  • Ability and willingness to learn about Cloud Native and Kubernetes
  • Ability to be productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation
