Job Description

We are looking for a Product Manager to help build bridges between our Customers (both internal and external) and our technology offerings. You will play an essential role in our on-going journey of designing a product that is a joy to use and ensure it makes a difference in the world of hiring and talent development.

Everyday you will:

  • Work closely with Customers to discover their needs, understand what life is like in their shoes and come up with innovative ways solve their problems, and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Translate product concepts into user stories, use cases, wireframes, and craft requirements that are clear and detailed to extent needed
  • Engage with our Product Development team as a product owner, refine tasks in sprints, groom the backlog, help smoke test new features and fixes
  • Bathe in data, both qualitative and quantitative and assemble inputs that will build a rich understanding of how the product is being received
  • Collaborate with other members of the Product UX team around the vision and strategic approach for the SocialTalent desktop and mobile apps

  • Enjoy developing a very deep and detailed understanding of the product on both the front end and the back end. Love exploring and understanding the nooks and crannies of the product and appreciate that product details are your currency

SocialTalent is a remote-first company. We welcome applications from any county in the Republic of Ireland. We pay competitive salaries and provide all of our team with a Macbook, phone & home office allowance to help you set up for success. We also provide uncapped vacation time and full maternity pay along with fully paid health insurance and annual discretionary bonus.

Salary: €70K basic, + 10% annual bonus

And you?

As Product Manager, you know how to take initiative and steer the experience of the product towards a definite vision you have. You don’t need to be handheld. You’ve been around the block a few times and are comfortable building SaaS products for both mobile and desktop. Bonus points if you have experience in the B2B world.

What you’ll probably do during the first 6 months

Get to know the team. Won’t be hard, we’re a friendly bunch. We’ll show you how the product and business works and who the personas are. You’ll dig in and absorb all of the crazy details that need to be understood in order to fathom how our platform works at a very granular level. You’ll take on new projects, some will involve refactoring existing functionality, others will create new experiences. You’ll drill into data, compare our product with others on the market, share opinions and pitch how we should do things better. You talk to lots of customers, build relationships and feed suggestions into the 12 month roadmap.
