About the Role

 

Sona has been a fully remote, flexible, and distributed team since day 1 and we have steadily built a market-leading startup EVP that has helped us to hire and retain a great early team.

 

Throughout our first three years, our People Operations have been handled by a combination of our Founding, Talent, and Finance teams. As we approach 100 team members later this year, it’s time to level up our People team with a first dedicated hire who will own all of our core People processes and help us implement initiatives to make Sona as great of a place to work as we can.

 

Responsibilities 

 

Day to day, you will be:

 

  • Maintaining employment records across our key tools (Personio, Deel, Figures etc) to enable data analysis and ensure compliance
  • Owning on/off-boarding processes, benefits programs, and People reporting
  • Identifying and implementing initiatives to improve employee engagement, such as company events and recognition programs
  • Acting as a key HR point of contact for the team

 

Requirements

 

We don’t have strict requirements but hopefully lots of the following apply to you:

 

  • You’re experienced in owning and executing key People tasks and processes, ideally in an international, remote, and high-growth company
  • You’re excited by the prospect of working on core initiatives that will make Sona a great place to work and help us attract and retain the best team we can
  • You’re highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of being a trusted advisor to both our team and leadership

That’s why we’re fully remote and everyone works a 4.5 day week (you choose when you take the half day) with a fully flexible schedule.
