What you will do:
SpotMe is at a critical moment in its history. This role is an essential part of launching the marketing function and our strategic efforts to reposition the company and drive a repeatable logo acquisition process. You will be an essential part (alongside other marketing channels) of driving the quantity and quality of web traffic to our site.
Who you are:
  • You understand that it is not just about the quantity of traffic but also quality, and that by getting both right is the key to driving business impact
  • Each time you deploy paid ads, you think about the obvious audiences but also are constantly searching for previously undiscovered audiences
  • You are a master at optimizing for search and know it is a key way to drive web site performance
  • Rapid testing, identifying lessons and quickly improving is second nature
  • Every day begins with data, and you use it to drive your strategy and plans
Key responsibilities:
  • Understand the strategic go-to-market strategy and how paid ads can help elevate the generation of sales qualified leads
  • Own the creation and execution of paid ads across channels, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Google and YouTube
  • Develop and manage an SEO/SEM strategy, based on research and our go-to-market strategy
  • Working with other marketing team members to get all the assets ready in order to execute the paid ads
  • Help the rest of the team deploy the approved SEO/SEM strategy, especially working with our content and web developer leads
  • Measure, track and report on key statistics, and be able to go deep to analyze what is and is not working
  • Share lessons and messaging that is working in our paid ads with colleagues, especially in content, sales development and product marketing
  • Manage contractors and multiple projects, as necessary
  • 2+ years experience running paid ad campaigns and optimizing SEO/SEM
  • Experience running ads and SEO on a global scale
  • Experience with analytics platforms, like Google Analytics
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to learn about new marketing channels and strategies, and work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Excellent Excel skills, communication, and presentation skills
