JOB DESCRIPTION
In this Operations Manager role you will support on all operational matters and ensure smooth company processes.
People & Culture
• Be the contact person for our employees’ enquiries like leave, sick days, purchases, etc
• Take active part in shaping a great team culture by organising and coordinating team activities such as offsites, lunches, workshops
• Manage & coordinate our recruitment pipelines and interview processes
• Support HR processes such as employee onboarding and off-boarding, 360-feedback process, pulse surveys, etc.
Operations:
● Test and implement new tools to simplify and automate company processes
● Ensure employees from across Europe, Colombia and Australia are legally employed and different documentation requirements are adhered to
● Coordinate access to hardware and tools for our international team
Finance:
• Be in charge of processing invoices and purchase orders
• Keep track of project expenses, liaise with our accountants and tax advisors, and support the creation of financial reports and our payroll process
YOUR PROFILE:
● Strong alignment with OpenSC’s vision and a desire to have positive impact in the world
● 3+ years of work experience in Operations, Finance and/or HR, ideally in a dynamic environment
● Good command of GSuite applications
● Strong process-oriented mindset – you love designing and automating efficient processes
● A detailed-oriented, pragmatic and hands-on approach
● Enthusiasm, grit and the ability to have fun at work
● Business fluent in English and German
Bonus points for:
● Knowledge of German HR laws
● Experience in an agency, consultancy or other project-focused environment
● Basic coding skills (eg. Javascript)
● Fluency in additional languages (French, Spanish)
● Experience in projects with a similar focus (sustainability, human rights, certification)
