Job Description
INTRODUCTION:
As the Director, People Partner (HRBP), for the ABC Glofox platform of ABC Fitness Solutions, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving our people strategy in across EMEA, Australia, and North America. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, your focus will be to [1] ensure the alignment of our global People initiatives with the overall business objectives and [2] build strong relationships with the ABC Glofox senior leadership team and guiding and influencing them on all matters related to people and organization design. You will provide strategic consultative guidance and coaching to leaders on people and culture related matters, ensuring alignment with the people operations and talent acquisition teams and company policies, goals, and objectives. You will partner with ABC Glofox leadership to determine resource needs, manage headcount budgets, prioritize talent requests, facilitate succession and talent planning, lead change management activities, and coach, mentor, and guide ABC Glofox leaders.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop a deep understanding of our business, culture, and its objectives to effectively partner with ABC Glofox senior leaders and provide strategic HR guidance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the ABC Glofox senior leadership team and provide insights and recommendations on people-related issues, recruiting, and organizational design.
- Collaborate with ABC Glofox senior leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive resourcing plan and identify talent gaps, and develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop top-tier talent.
- Drive the implementation of global People & Culture initiatives, policies, and programs, ensuring consistency and alignment across the organization.
- Partner with the global People Operations team to ensure effective delivery of our equitable people experience, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, and performance management.
- Champion a culture of high performance, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion throughout the organization.
- Monitor people metrics and analyze data to identify trends and develop insights that drive continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, employment laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and make recommendations for enhancements as necessary.
- Collaborate with the ABC People & Culture team to share best practices and align people strategies where applicable.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner with a minimum of 12 years of experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven company.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leaders.
- Demonstrated expertise in leadership coaching and development, talent management, performance management, and change management.
- Experience working with international companies and a strong understanding of global HR practices and employment laws.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR data and metrics to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
AND IT’S GREAT TO HAVE:
- Familiarity with a People Operations team model and the ability to effectively partner with global People Operations to deliver equitable people experiences and services.
- Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Proficiency with Workday HCM modules and reporting, and advanced Excel skills
