This role involves working closely with internal development teams, external partners, and clients to ensure efficient and reliable API connections. The ideal candidate will have a balanced mix of soft skills, good understanding of the travel experiences connectivity landscape, and experience independently managing technical implementation projects.

About Ventrata

Ventrata is an enterprise ticketing platform designed for high-volume attraction, tour, and activity operators. Our all-in-one platform powers online, in-person, & third-party sales, and provides robust functionality around resource management, hardware integrations, and 24/7 live support. About the Role

As a Connectivity Project Manager, you will play a key part in the implementations and day-to-day operations of Ventrata’s Reseller and Operator API integrations and related product functionality. You will be part of the Connectivity Product team and will collaborate closely with various internal teams, Ventrata clients, and Connectivity Partners (OTAs, Multi-Attraction Pass Providers, as well as other ticketing systems) to ensure we offer the most feature-rich and error-free API connections in the industry.

You will:

  • Identify and develop new connection opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing partners.
  • Own, troubleshoot, and improve existing API connections between Ventrata and external systems, acting as a liaison between clients, internal teams, and connectivity partners.
  • Ensure that all API connections meet quality standards and requirements. Conduct regular performance evaluations and initiate improvements.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on assigned connections, their supported capabilities, and processes.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with the travel experiences ecosystem. Do you know what is OCTO, Viator, GetYourGuide, Go City, CityPASS and Google Things to Do?
  • Prior experience working with API connections, ideally in the travel experiences industry. Understanding of data formats such as JSON and XML. Familiarity with tools like Postman, GitHub, Linear, etc.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English, additional languages a plus.  Ability to adjust communication style depending on the stakeholders.
  • Strong urgency and ownership. Be capable of working independently as part of the distributed remote team—experience working in a startup environment.
