Business Analyst to lead our Internal Tools improvements!

We are looking for you to join the Product Management team, where you will help to make a market leading eCommerce payment solution in the digital payments industry.

Merchant Services is a Business Unit within Nets, building IT products and services used by Merchants such as stores and online shops. We’re creating a “next generation” payment solution for merchants all over Europe.

We are looking for a Business Analyst for our Product Management team. The Product Management team consists of Product Managers, Product Owners and Business Analysts and is responsible for requirements setting for Nets/Nexi eCommerce products. We aim to ramp-up our Internal Tools team and improve our internal product experience and tools. To support the scaling of the team we’re looking for a Business Analyst to support the refinement process of the team. As a Business Analyst in this area you will be responsible for analysing agreed strategic topics and put a specific focus on our internal customers/users behavior to get to well-founded conclusions in the form of product requirements to improve the product.

Location: We are open to have you be located in our Nordics or DACH country locations, where we have offices

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Active contribution to defining product strategy going forward (in close collaboration with manager and team)
  • Analysis of user behavior (to understand how to streamline flows and in other ways increase conversion)
  • Analysis of specific strategic topics and translate into clear Product Development requirements (set a roadmap and prioritise backlog together with the POs and development team)
  • Project: Streamline Tools – give an overview about all used tools, talk to tool owner, purpose of use, combine, extend or replace tools.

Your daily work assignments will be:

  • Analyse user behaviour and input
  • Close collaboration with PO
  • Close collaboration with development team
  • Close collaboration with the wider product management team to understand and agree on general business priorities
  • Write requirements
  • Refinement with the teams
  • Coordinate processes with internal departments.
  • Understand, map and coordinate cross-team dependent development

Your professional qualifications include:

  • Several years of experience as business analyst or equivalent (e.g. requirements engineer)
  • Experience from customer service functions
  • Experience from working within cross-functional teams
  • Experience in agile ways of working (ideally you have experience from a SAFe framework environment)

  • Language skills in English and German (Nordic languages is a plus).
